Denise has worked in every area of marketing over the past 30 years. As a principal of O2 Lab, she is responsible for new business development, account management, marketing, and strategic planning. Denise holds a Masters’ degree in PR from American University and is an active member of Women In Technology (WIT) as Board Member-At-Large, Executive Development. She was named the 2011 Change Agent of the Year for Leadership Greater Washington; WIT Champion in 2012 and 2014, a Women of Vision in Arlington County and an Influential Woman of Virginia in 2013; a Washington Business Journal Woman Who Means Business in 2014, and a SmartCEO Brava! honoree in 2015.
Robert has been art directing and designing high-quality, conceptually relevant communication solutions for more than 25 years. As a principal of O2 Lab, Robert is responsible for guiding, managing, and inspiring all aspects of design and production, ensuring the firm’s high standards are consistently upheld. Robert studied advertising design at the University of Maryland and, after earning his degree, began his career at a design studio, later becoming the senior art director for Sparkman & Associates, Inc. Robert sits on the board of Access Youth and is past Vice-President of the Washington, DC, chapter of the AIGA. He is an adjunct professor of graphic design at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at George Washington University.
Jennifer creates powerful, award-winning communications, which have been increasing clients’ response rates and, consequently, their results since she began her career in the early nineties. Jennifer is a strong creative strategist, brand developer, idea woman, creative director, art director and designer. Deeply involved in AIGA, the professional association for design, Jennifer served four years on the AIGA DC board, three of which were on the executive board. She is a past editor of the AIGA DC journal [un]coated. Among other distinctions, Jennifer has served on a curriculum panel for the Corcoran College of Art and Design and as a judge in the prestigious Crane’s Paper design competition.
Sara spent 20 years as a writer and editor for major publications, including U.S. News & World Report, where she ran the Best Colleges franchise. She helmed consumer membership magazines at the Library of Congress and at the American Diabetes Association, where she relaunched the publication and its website. As a writer, she has published essays and book reviews in the Washington Post, Scientific American, and Health Affairs, among other publications. Her work as a graphic designer brings smart, strategic thinking to the visual communication of ideas. Sara studied graphic design at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design and earned a BA in English from Princeton University.
Nora holds a BFA in Graphic Design from The George Washington University, in the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design. Along with a four-year Presidential Scholarship, Nora was recognized with awards her Thesis, Junior, Sophomore, and Foundation years. As a Corcoran Design Lab team member and manager, she worked on the award-winning brand identity for the school’s NEXT Exhibition. Nora has also studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and at Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to coming to O2 Lab, Nora interned at a design and strategy firm in Washington, DC.
Fred came to O2 Lab after 10 years working in communications and cause-related marketing, where he helped build and manage relationships between corporations and nonprofit organizations. He has a BFA in Graphic Design from The George Washington University, in the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design. While in school he received the AIGA Continuum Fund Award and the Junior 2D Design Award. Fred also holds a BA in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
